Since the rehab on my computer,(which has been running great), I have noticed something that I never ran across before.  When I get an occasional e-mail from a friend, I'm directed to either find or save the file of a video they are trying to send me.  However, if I hit find, it directs me to a page of Microsoft and they are offering a download of Power Point for over $100.  Now, I know the other people don't have this program which would cost them that kind of money.  This is not that important, but it's jut I never came across this problem before in downloading a video or some pictures.  Any ideas?  Hope all is well with you.  Thanks

I came across this issue just the other day.  Lucky Microsoft has a tool that allows you to view PowerPoint files if you don't have the Microsoft Office License.  I have two solutions (1) download the plug-in made available on Microsoft's Website, or use an alternative program to PowerPoint (Microsoft Office) that is fully compatible to Microsoft's PowerPoint and save your money.

                            Here are the links:

Before upgrading to Windows 7 download the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Tool.  This tool will scan your computer's hardware, devices, and applications  for compatibility issues.  Once the scan is complete the Advisor will generate a report with guidelines on how to resolve potential issues. It will also provide recommendations on what to do prior to upgrading to Windows 7.  Click .    on this link to start the download Advisor Tool:
